Ballston Spa Middle School has an anticipated vacancy for a certified Special Education teacher to work in a 12:1+1 classroom (grades 6-8) with students that are New York State Alternate Assessed (NYSAA). Experience working in a special class for students with multiple disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to employ various techniques and methods of instruction to meet individual needs, work collaboratively with related service providers, and effectively lead staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, writing and progress monitoring IEP's, communicating with team members and parents, and planning transition activities.

Ballston Spa Central School District has a vacancy for a speech therapist to provide individual and group speech and language therapy, speech improvement, progress monitoring and speech evaluations as needed for elementary.  Experience working with elementary students and strong behavior management skills preferred.
