Job Description

Ballston Spa Central School District has a vacancy for a .4 Middle School/.6 High School Social Studies Teacher. 

Experience with middle school students and differentiated approaches to instruction are preferred. For the .6 in the high school, it will involve teaching a microeconomics course in our History department. This is a new course that is being developed with a goal of teaching students the newly developed NYSED Personal Finance standards. The ideal candidate should be able to create content that connects microeconomics, the history of finance, and personal finance to students' lives."

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Social Studies 7-12, with 5-6 extension preferred. 

Salary: $51,725/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
