Job Description

Ballston Spa High School is seeking a high-energy, empathetic, and innovative High School History Teacher to join our social studies department. The ideal candidate can transform historical dates and data into meaningful, relevant narratives for students. The ideal candidate understands that teaching history is less about memorizing the past and more about developing critical thinking and civic engagement for the future.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Social Studies 7-12 

Salary: $51,725/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
