Job Description

The Ballston Spa High School is seeking two dedicated, student-centered Special Education Teachers to join our collaborative team. The current assignment is to work as a co-teacher within a Science classroom, partnering with general education faculty. We are looking for a professional who possesses a deep understanding of IEP development and data-driven goal tracking, but who more importantly views every student through a lens of potential. The assignment will require case management and may also include a Resource Room.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities K-12 or 7-12 Required. Dual certification or certification extension in the subject area of science preferred 

Salary: $51,725/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
