Job Description

Job Description: Wood Road is seeking a Teaching Assistant to assist the PE teacher in delivering daily physical education lessons, demonstrate exercises, sports skills, and proper use of equipment to students. Help set up, organize, and take down equipment for daily activities, as well as help adapt activities for students with diverse learning needs, abilities, or medical considerations. Candidate must be able to help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students adhere to all safety protocols.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Teaching Assistant I with a minimum of 18 college credits

Salary: $24,375/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
