Job Description

Gordon Creek Elementary School is seeking a qualified licensed Social Worker to provide school-based mental health and social work services for elementary school students. The social worker will deliver clinical intervention through individual and small-group counseling, provide specialized behavioral support, work within self-contained special education classrooms, and build strong home-school partnerships with families to support student academic, emotional, and social success. Responsibilities including meeting IEP requirements for counseling, FBA's, BIPs, and other special education requirements.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: School Social Worker. Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred

Salary: $51,725/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
