Job Description

Malta Ave Elementary School has a vacancy for a per diem/long term substitute for a 12:1+1 academic needs special education teacher position. This is an anticipated per diem vacancy for a six week position commencing on October 20^th. The assignment includes providing specially designed instruction in ELA and math to 3^rd grade students with disabilities. Responsibilities also include supporting students in an integrated setting during social studies, science and technology. Candidates with a strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction are preferred.10/20/25-12/01/25

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Special Education 

Salary: Base: Per Diem Daily Certified Rate: $150 daily

LTS $51,000 (pro-rated)  (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
