Job Description

Wood Road Elementary is offering an internal transfer opportunity for a position in a grade 2/3 special education classroom serving students with multiple disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. The ideal candidate will have: Experience utilizing a varsity of instructional techniques to address individual students needs. The ability to collaborate effectively with related service providers, Strong leadership skills to guide and support classroom staff. Responsibilities include writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitoring student progress.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Special Education 

Salary: BASE: $51,000 (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
