Job Description

The Ballston Spa Central School District is seeking a well-qualified, dynamic individual to lead our Wood Road Elementary School. The successful candidate will:

• Possess a strong knowledge of and experience with elementary curriculum, assessment, instruction and NYS standards.
• Possess a strong knowledge of and appreciation for the unique developmental needs of elementary students.
• Possess a deep understanding of special education programming, planning, scheduling and support.
• Possess strong communication skills; the ability to engage the Wood Road parents and community; and a non-negotiable advocacy for students and staff.

 

 

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: NYS certification: SDA, SAS or SBL

Salary: per BSAC contract
